The Spencer House is the perfect choice for your occasion. Specializing in intimate celebrations, we can accommodate receptions for 150 guests in our lawn and gardens.

Up to 16 guests can be accommodated in our six rooms and there are several other quality bed and breakfasts and hotels in the area.

Catering Services: From the savory to the sweet, we offer on-site catering for all of your event needs. Light hors d'oeuvres, full coursed meals, and delicious deserts will tempt your taste buds. We will work with you to make sure that your budget and your tastes are accommodated.

Romantic Evening Package: Indulge in a scrumptious dinner at Mario’s Restaurant, and then walk back to the inn for a romantic and relaxing evening in your private room. Available from November 1st through April 30th, enjoy our room and dinner discount. Mention that you’d like to take advantage of the “Romantic Evening Package” when making your reservation, and we’ll give you a coupon for 10% off both your room and your bill at Mario’s. Sunday through Friday only; does not include beverages, taxes or gratuity.

Corporate Retreats: What a great way to put the team spirit back into your business! With its porches and common room, The Spencer House is a great place to host a small corporate retreat. We offer sleeping room for 16, and are close to terrific hiking, rock climbing, kayaking and ropes courses.

Let Long View Ballooning take you for the ride of your life in their beautiful rainbow balloon, and then fly back to The Spencer House for a romantic evening. Wine Tasting Package: Hosted by resident wine expert (and Innkeeper) Maya Greene, this is a great chance to fully appreciate a wine tasting without driving home. Sit in front of the fire while learning about (and drinking!) wonderful wines, taste delicious cheese and fruit pairings, and then spend the night in one of our comfortable beds. Murder Mystery Dinner: Who done it? As you sit around a candle-lit dinner table with an array of eccentric guests, you won’t be able to help getting caught up in the mystery of it all. When you book a “Murder Mystery Package,” you’ll receive (in advance) a full character description and details pertaining to your stay. Arrive in character, and let the rest take care of itself! Dinner will be catered by Mario’s, and served in front of a fire while you and the other guests try to figure out who is the murderer. Fixed price includes full accommodations, dinner, and breakfast.
